Aastha – Shelter Home for Women
The Aastha Project, managed by Swachha Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha, is a sanctuary for women in distress in Amravati, Maharashtra. This initiative offers a safe, nurturing environment for widows, single mothers, and women escaping abusive situations. At Aastha, we provide secure accommodation, nutritious meals, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. Our mission is to empower women to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence. Through personalized care and community support, Aastha aims to create a space where women can heal, grow, and achieve self-sufficiency. So far, by the end of October 2024, around 50 women have benefitted from this project.
