Key Team Members:

Arti Amte – Nankar

Arti is a key member of the Swachha team and has been involved in the Aastha project since its inception. Along with Uday and other team members, she oversees and manages the day-to-day activities of the organization. Arti holds a GNM degree and has worked as a staff nurse at several hospitals, including Cottage Hospital at Lok Biradari Prakalp in Hemalkasa. She serves as the lead manager, supervisor, and caretaker for both the Aastha project and Aastha Bhojanalaya. Prior to her marriage, Arti spent most of her life at Lok Biradari Prakalp in Hemalkasa and Aanandwan, where she participated in various project activities. In her free time, Arti enjoys singing, dancing, spending time with her children, working in her home garden, making decorative items, and cooking delicious dishes for her family.

Uday Nankar

Uday Nankar is another key member of the Swachha team and has been involved in the Aastha project since its inception. Along with Arti and other team members, he helps manage the day-to-day activities of Swachha. Uday holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Rural Management from IRMA. He has worked with several organizations, including BAIF, NABARD Financial Services Limited, and Apeksha Homoeo Society, participating in activities related to SHGs, microfinance, producer companies, and other rural development initiatives. Uday is also involved in managing Swachha Maintenance Services and Ecoopus Agri Ventures, which are emerging social enterprises in their nascent stages1. In his free time, Uday likes to spend time with his kids and family members, enjoys reading books and learning new things.
