Don Ghas – Providing Meals with Compassion

Don Ghas is dedicated to offering free meals to patients, their families, and caregivers at government hospitals in Amravati. This initiative, launched in collaboration with the NGO With Aarya (https://withaarya.ngo/) and supported by generous individuals, began in 2023. The name “Don Ghas” translates to “Two Morsels,” symbolizing our commitment to providing wholesome and nutritious food.

Our meals are carefully packed and typically include a variety of dishes of rice, ensuring a complete and satisfying dinner for one person. Currently, we distribute these meals every evening at Irwin Hospital (District Civil Hospital), Amravati. To date (20 September 2024), we have served over 30,000 meals, bringing comfort and nourishment to thousands of patients and their loved ones.
